Colorful Classroom labels

As the summer comes to an end I'm looking forward to decorating my classroom and labeling vocabulary per subject. Math about me in Spanish

I translated this activity. I must give credit to foreverin1st.blogspot.com she provided it in English. I loved it and thought that I will be giving the students this activity the first week of school. She mentioned that she has tweaked the questions over the years.

I made these numbers for my table baskets for organization :) I'll post some pictures once I tape them on to the baskets that I bought from Wal-Mart.

Change

I know that I have heard plenty of times that change is good.  I was infomed that I will be moving to 2nd. grade. Can't say that I'm suprised but I did see it coming. I'm excited :) Now to start a new grade level. I will miss my first grade team but thank goodness they will be down the hall.

Spinners

Daily 5 - Spinners

I have started to use the Daily 5 stations in my classroom and I am enjoying it so much. I did have to make some changes since I teach Phonics in Spanish. My students are using spinners to decide which stations to go to just incase they can't make up their mind. I do have to give credit to another blog for the idea but I can't remember exactly which one sorry.
